A walk in development to focus on our research

Set out under cold December skies

trying to get moving

and prepare for serious work

but first we must sit

for as long as it takes

to let go

We all move at our own pace 

the clouds overhead, the branches, even the fallen leaves

we’re all touched by time

The last leaves fall

in occasional flurries of gold

as we head up into the woods

Here we stop

to find our treasure

and ask big questions

We’re not looking for answers

but something wild,  open

and trustworthy

It takes us somewhere new

and down familiar paths

We hope it will guide our interactions

as we seek new ways to see things

and offer support

On our return

we consider our impact

and how we can help

be ourselves
